Cassidy is a proud Chicagoan. As a graduate of Millikin's BFA Acting program, she had the opportunity to study abroad in London where she was honored to work at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and with Punchdrunk. She was an instructor in the first year of Illinois Shakespeare Festival's educational program.
She has worked with Chicago Shakespeare, Notre Dame Shakespeare,
South Coast Repertory in Orange County, and others.
Cassidy sings and plays viola and violin.
She traveled the world as an actor+musician with Once the Musical,
performing original music and covers in benefit concerts across the country.
In understudying two roles, she performed in several cities including Boston,
Tokyo, and at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
She has since performed in several regional productions of the show.
Cassidy performs regularly with Youth in a Roman Field
and other members of the Once family.
She is currently in the Chicago area, though she plans to move to California in 2020.
Cassidy is a member of the Actors Equity Association and Actors Federation of Musicians.
